 You will leave the comfort of your hotel you will travel across the desert by 4-Wheel-Drive vehicle. A trip to the desert offers you a real adventure into the magnificent landscape of the unique sands of Gobi. A stop for a breathtaking view of the endless desert will give you an opportunity to watch the sun-set over this tranquil scenery. Also, the drive takes you to some of the most beautiful sand dunes of the deserts of Gobi. Upon reaching the dunes, you have the opportunity to experience the exhilaration of the one of the most popular activity in the desert - camel riding! No trip to Gobi is complete without at least one time ride two humped camel riding. Itinerary:Day1. Arrive in Mongolia and Ulaanbaatar city tour.
On arrival at the “Chinggis Khaan” international airport in Ulaanbaatar, the capital and biggest city of Mongolia, you will be picked up by our company’s guide and transferred to hotel. After first Mongolian lunch we will visit to Main Squire for take photos with Chinggis Khaan’s monument and other Mongolian historical man's. Then we will see National History Museum. In the evening we will invite you to enjoy Mongolian traditional and our arranged feast for you. It will be great surprise for them. In the evening we will show our culture which is traditional folk music concert in biggest group’s hall. Day2. Fly to Gobi desert (1.5 hours), Yoliin Am and Bayanzag. (150 km)Early morning, you will be transferred to the airport for a 90 minute flight to the South Gobi . Our staff will pick you up at the local air strip and, after breakfast, you will be driven to the valley of Yolyn Am. The valley begins from Zuun Saikhan Mountain, a branch of the Gurvan Saikhan mountain system, and stretches over 10 km. It is completely shaded from the sun in some parts by high cliff walls. You will walk through the valley which is famous for the fact that there is ice present there even during the hot summer months. The beauty of the valley, combined with the sound of vultures (Yol means vulture, in Mongolian) creates an atmosphere of awe and wonder – this is an experience not to be missed! After lunch, continue the drive towards Bayanzag, a saxual forest and area of red cliffs “Bayanzag” which have been formed from the erosion of the sand and rock over many thousands of years. A lot of dinosaurs’ findings such as skeleton & dinosaur’ eggs have been found there. American zoologist Roy Chapman Andrews named this place as “End of the World”. As scientists defined it was an inland sea bottom some 200 million years ago. There, we will visit local dinosaur ger museum. The Flaming Cliffs themselves are very imposing from a distance, and are particularly fiery in the light of the setting sun, and it is an interesting place to wander about to get a closer look at one of the world’s most famous paleontological sites.
Day3. Explore the Khongor sand dunes. (140 KM) Today we drive to Khongor sand dunes that extend along the northern side of Sevrei and Zoolun mountain ranges, explore the area, climbing one of the dunes affords the energetic traveler with an unforgettable experience of endless vistas across a sea of daffodil-colored sand. The dunes extend for 185 kilometers and include dunes that can reach 80 meters in height. The sound produced by the masses of moving sand can be heard from afar, and when it occurs, it is said that it can be mistaken for the sound of an aero plane. Hence their name is 'singing sands', or 'musical sands'. Near Khongor Gol (River KHongor) at the northern edge of the dunes, there is an oasis. We will be riding on camels today to explore these massive sand-dunes. The two-humped camels are very comfortable to ride, as they walk slowly and gently and we will be well supported by the humps, sitting comfortably between them. Our camel man will take us to the sand-dunes. Visit to Nomads Family. Interaction with local nomads. Participate in the nomads daily chores - Milk the local yaks and cows. According to Mongolian tradition, the women do the milking of the goats, cows and horses whilst the men hunt for marmot Get involved as you chose! In the evening, there will be a time to get involved around an outside fire. You also taste traditional Mongolian vodka. It is fermented with cow s milk according to the special nomadic technology! A must if you like the odd alcoholic beverage or two! Day4-5. Naran Daats, Khermen Tsav and Oasis Zulganai. (250 KM) From there, we will drive through saxaul-filled desert oases Naran Daats to the most famous canyon of southern ultimate Gobi desert: the spectacular Khermen Tsav. In translation it means as Khermen – “citadel” and Tsav means “crack”. It is the most legendary impressive place with its color and contrast because this deep canyon has been forming over thousands of years from water and wind erosion. Khermen Tsav is a geologic museum of epic proportions, where earth's many million year history is displayed. It's a sight everyone should see! Then we will drive to Zulganai oasis, a small river oasis named “Zulganai” is the last oasis in Mongolia, untouched nature. The oasis is located 30 KM far from Khermen Tsav. The lush green carpet of shrub land and fields sit in stark contrast to the barren hills in the background of this typical oasis. No one can say for certain where the name "Zulganai" came from.
Day6-7. Bugiin Tsav and Bichigtiin Am. (170 KM)
In these days we will see the natural wonder and historical sight Bugiin Tsav and Bichigtyn Am. Bugiin Tsav is the place which is protected as belonging to National Park Gobi Gurvan Saikhan by the government. There is many fossilled remains and findings of dinosaurs and some of them are protruted on the surface of the land. fBichigtiin Am (Gap of Inscribed Rock), situated in the Bayan Hill, has one of the world's greatest collections of prehistoric petroglyphs – figures carved in the rock over a period of 5,000 years and depicting themes connected with animal husbandry, navigation, war and magic. It is home to the greatest complex of rock drawings in Asia, with approximately 1,000 petroglyphs drawn by members of the Hunnu people and other tribes of Nomadic impires on hundreds of exposed rocks dating from the 3000 BCE to the 8th century; cosmological, figurative, and cartographic motifs are featured, in some locations forming monumental hunting and ritual `scenes´. The number, duration and variety of the engravings, representing for example navigation, dance, war and ploughing and their relationship with contemporary archaeological sites, contribute to the exceptional value of this assemblage. The rock drawings of Bichigtiin Am constitute an extraordinary figurative documentation of prehistoric customs and mentality. The systematic interpretation, typological classification, and the chronological study of these configurations in stone have brought about a considerable contribution to the fields of prehistory, sociology and ethnology.
Day8. Tsagaan cave and Orog Lake. (190 KM)
Today, you will reach the furthest most point of your adventure trip. After breakfast we will drive to the White Caves of Tsagaan, located in the Tsakhir Mountain . In 1996, it was discovered that this cave housed Stone Age man some 700,000 years ago, and has subsequently become the site of numerous archeological digs. You will have dinner and camp overnight near the Tsakhir Mountain.
Day9. Bayankhongor Town. (150 KM)
After breakfast we will drive to Bayankhongor town. In the afternoon we will arrive in the town and stay in local hotel. We will have there well rest and hot shower.
Day10. Naiman Nuur. (140 KM)
This trip enable one to explore parts of the Khangai Mountain Range National Park ecosystem near the Karakorum which is the large wild area left in the Mongolia. The best way to experience the full majesty of this country and its wild kingdom is by traveling on horseback with pack animals to set up camps in the heart of the wilderness. Khuisiin Naiman Nuur (Eight Umbilical Lakes) of Mountain Range Khangai in central Mongolia is like no other place in the country.
Day11. Ulaantsutgalan. (50 KM)
After traveling a short distance from the Eight Lakes, you will arrive at Ulaantsutgalan, waterfall, where you can eat lunch and quench your thirst, before setting off once more. If you feel up to it, you can walk a small path of around the site, where you will be able to see a beautiful view of the River Orkhon from Ulaantsutgalan Waterfall. The Orkhon Waterfall marks the halfway point of the Orkhon River, the longest River in Mongolia. This area of Mongolia is well known for producing the best ‘airag’, or fermented mares’ milk, in the country. Many locals will love to challenge you to a singing game, the loser having to consume a whole bowl of the ‘airag’, so beware when visiting local families!
Day12. Karakorum, ancient Mongolian historical city. (90 KM)
Drive to historical city Kharakhorum, was the main administration capital city of Great 13th century Mongolian Empire and named ‘Silk Road’ by westerns, bridged Asia and European countries, like Greece & Rome once were the biggest cities in the World. Center of the empire was Karakorum city until Khuvilai Khaan decided to move his capital to Dadu or Beijing. After collapsing of Yuan dynasty Min state’s invaders sacked the city and massacred its inhabitants in 1388 and ruined it. Also, you will see & explore there a monastery named ‘Erdene Zuu’, which built as the first Mongolian Buddhist monastery by Abtai Sain Khaan (a Mongolian King) in 1587. There we will see Great Impreial Maps and phallica rock etc .historical sightseeing.
Day13. Lake Ugii. (80 KM)
Breakfast. Head west out of the city. Our today’s destination is lake ‘Ugii’, called a paradise for fishers and for boating interesters, in the territory of Arkhangai province, the central part Mongolia. Tough this small lake covers area of only 61 km. sq. Also, we will show you ancient Turkish Empire monuments on your way. Day14. National Park Khustai. (250 KM)
Today, you will head to east towards UB. En route, you will see & enjoy historical places of Heartland of Mongolia (there are many historical monuments such as ruins of ancient cities, deer stones, human stones, and etc. You will also cross River Tuul, one of the biggest Rivers in Mongolia. Today we will some hiking in the Khustai Mountain Natural Reserve, looking for great views and wildlife. (Prejevalsky's wild horses). The drive takes about 3 hours (about 250km) until we reach Khustai National Park where re-introduction of the wild Przewalski horses has taken place since 1992. After we would have camped, we have lunch. The afternoon will be spent at leisure hiking in the surrounding mountains with an evening visit to the wild horses while they come to drink in the evening. Day15. Ulaanbaatar. (90 KM) After breakfast, we will drive to Ulaanbaatar city. After arrive there we will be transferred in the accommodation and have free time for shopping or others. Day16. International departure. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the railway station or international airport for your international departure.
