These destinations and attractions include the Gobi Desert  and its natural beauties such as National Park Gobi Gurvan Saikhan and its natural beauty Yolyn Am, Sand dunes Khongor, dinosaur site Bayanzag  etc. In Central Mongolia, you will see Middle Gobi desert, natural beauty Baga Gazryn Chuluu, Karakorum ancient Mongolian historical capital, Erdene Zuu monastery complex, picturesque town Tsetserleg, Natural Memorable Site Mountain Bulgan, Rock Taikhar, Canyon River Chuluut and National Park Khorgo-Terkh etc. Dating from the Genghis Khan era, the Naadam Festival is a showcase for traditional sporting events and a summer celebration enjoyed throughout Mongolia from 11-13 July. The most spectacular events for visitors take place at the National Stadium in Ulaan Bataar where nomads compete in wrestling, archery and horsemanship.

Itinerary:


Day1. 27 June. Arrive in Mongolia.
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar city either by train or plane. We will pick you up and transfer to the hotel.

Day2. 28 June. Baga Gazryn Chuluu. (240 km)
After breakfast in our HTL, we will leave for the Mongolian countryside. The first stop on the Gobi trip list is Baga Gazriin Chuluu (more commonly known as the Small Stones of Middle Gobi). It is granite formation in the middle of the Mongolian Sandy plane. At the food of the formation we will visit the remains of a small monastery named Delgeriin Choir.
 
Day3. 29 June. Tsagaan Suvarga. (240 km)
After a breakfast, we will start driving rowards the Gobi deserts. Today we will see the landscaoe changing dramatically from the fertile grassland to the inhospitably rocky land. The number of families and cattle we will see along the road will gradually reduce. The next place we will stop is Tsagaan Suvarga. Bonus!!! we will show you ancient rock paintings which is continue 2 km long and located 35 km far from Tsagaan Suvarga.

Day4. 30 June. South Gobi province and Yolyn Am. (270 km)
Early morning, we will drive to Umnugobi province and will drive you to the valley of Yolyn Am. The valley begins from Zuun Saikhan Mountain, a branch of the Gurvan Saikhan mountain system, and stretches over 10 km. It is completely shaded from the sun in some parts by high cliff walls. You will walk through the valley which is famous for the fact that there is ice present there even during the hot summer months. The beauty of the valley, combined with the sound of vultures (Yol means vulture, in Mongolian) creates an atmosphere of awe and wonder – this is an experience not to be missed!

Day5. 01 July. Drive to Sand dunes Khongor. (200 km)
After breakfast, continue the drive towards Khongor sand dunes that extend along the northern side of Sevrei and Zoolun mountain ranges, explore the area, climbing one of the dunes affords the energetic traveler with an unforgettable experience of endless vistas across a sea of daffodil-colored sand. The dunes extend for 185 kilometers and include dunes that can reach 80 meters in height. The sound produced by the masses of moving sand can be heard from afar, and when it occurs, it is said that it can be mistaken for the sound of an aero plane. Hence their name is 'singing sands', or 'musical sands'. Near Khongor Gol (River KHongor) at the northern edge of the dunes, there is an oasis. We will be riding on camels today to explore these massive sand-dunes.

Day6. 02 July. Sand dunes and Bayanzag. (120 km)
Today we will enjoy some travel activities of Gobi desert. The two-humped camels are very comfortable to ride, as they walk slowly and gently and we will be well supported by the humps, sitting comfortably between them. Our camel man will take us to the sand-dunes. Visit to Nomads Family. Interaction with local nomads. Participate in the nomads daily chores - Milk the local yaks and cows. According to Mongolian tradition, the women do the milking of the goats, cows and horses whilst the men hunt for marmot Get involved as you chose! After lunch, continue the drive towards Bayanzag, a saxual forest and area of red cliffs “Bayanzag” which have been formed from the erosion of the sand and rock over many thousands of years. A lot of dinosaurs’ findings such as skeleton & dinosaur’ eggs have been found there. American zoologist Roy Chapman Andrews named this place as “End of the World”. As scientists defined it was an inland sea bottom some 200 million years ago. There, we will visit local dinosaur ger museum. The Flaming Cliffs themselves are very imposing from a distance, and are particularly fiery in the light of the setting sun, and it is an interesting place to wander about to get a closer look at one of the world’s most famous paleontological sites.

Day7. 03 July. Middle Gobi province and Ongi monastery ruins. (180 km)
After breakfast, we will head to Saikhan Ovoo, a small village in the Middle Gobi province. During the way visit the mountainside remains of the Ongiin Monastery, which now has a small number of novices after years of turmoil. There we will enjoy the peace and beauty of the Delger Khangai Mountains. We will explore the ruins of of Ongi Monastery.

Day8. 04 July. Karakorum. (240 km)
Drive to historical city Kharakhorum, was the main administration capital city of Great 13th century Mongolian Empire and named ‘Silk Road’ by westerns, bridged Asia and European countries, like Greece & Rome once were the biggest cities in the World. Also, you will see & explore there a monastery named ‘Erdene Zuu’, which built as the first Mongolian Buddhist monastery by Abtai Sain Khaan (a Mongolian King) in 1587. Also, you will see phallic rock near from Karakorum. Karakorum - The state of Mongols in the 13th century was among the most powerful of all in the world. Center of the empire was Karakorum city until Khuvilai Khaan decided to move his capital to Dadu or Beijing. After collapsing of Yuan dynasty Min state’s invaders sacked the city and massacred its inhabitants in 1388 and ruined it. There we will see Great Impreial Maps and phallica rock and Erdene Zuu monastery complex etc historical sightseeing.

Day9. 05 July. Arkhangai province and null granit Rock Taikhar. (150 km)
Today we will drive to Arkhangai province. After few hours driving we could get in small town Tsetserleg. The town is refreshingly pollution free and picturesquely situated among several peaks making it a good place to resting on your way to Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur, the Great White Lake. In the town we will visit to local internet cafe and local food market and some other activities. The town offer good stop for long term trip. After lunch we will cross Mountain pass Tsagaan Davaa (White Pass), drive to Rock Taikhar.

Day10. 06 July. Canyon River Chuluut and National Park Khorgo-Terkh. (150 km)
In the morning we will enjoy typical nomads’ breakfast including yak milk products. Our today’s destination is Gorge of River Chuluut and Extinct volcano region of Khorgo-Terkh and Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur(Great White Lake). Our today’s lunch will be a picnic near the beauty Tamir river. After Lunch we will continue to driving to Khorgo-Terkh N.P. On the bay, your costumers could see a huge gorge Chuluut. In the afternoon, around 17 o’clock we will have been got in our destination.

The Lake Terkhiin Tsagaan (White) has volcanic origins, something that is easy to figure out by the trail of solidified lava formations leading from the lake to nearby Khorgo Uul volcano. The volcano is worth climbing if only to walk around the crater it is easy to hire a horse and ride it up the volcano, which also gives you chance to visit of the more interesting lava formations on your way, or cars can be driven almost to the visit almost to the to the summit. Khorgo volcano is a dead volcano covered with basalt lying to the east of the lake Terkhiin Tsagaan in Arkhangai aimag. There are interesting bubbles of solidified lava, named “basalt ger” and it is possible to visit yak herders in this area.

Day11. 07 July. National Park Khorgo-Terkh.
Hiking here is really fantastic. The landscape here is equally fascinating with extinct volcano craters producing various rock formations and huge gorges with fast flowing rivers and cascades. Terkhiin White Lake, where once-active volcanoes have formed some beautiful terrain suitable for hiking. Today we will hiking to Khorgo volcano and climbing up to top of volcano.

Day12. 08 July. Tsenkher Hot Spa. (200 km)
After breakfast we will drive to Tsenkher hot spa for relaxing! We will stay there in a tourist camp and will have well relax there. Tsenkher's curative mineral waters have been used for centuries as the most pure and healing in the Mongolia. Feel the 24 hour mineral water whirlpool massage the tension from your busy life at our refreshing, up scale and sensual countryside center.

Day13. 09 July. National Park Mountain Khugnu Khaan and Elsen Tasarkhai (160 KM)
After breakfast we will drive to natural beauty of central Mongolia, Elsen Tasarkhai and Khungu Khaan historical mountains. After arrive there you will have free time and hiking around the small and picturesque sand dunes. 

Day14. 10 July. Drive toward Ulaanbaatar. (250 KM)
After breakfast, we will drive to Ulaanbaatar city. After arrive there we will be transferred in the accommodation and have free time for shopping or others.

Day15. 11 July. Naadam festival in Ulaanbaatar city.
After breakfast, see 9 flagceremony at the main squire of Ulaanbaatar, see Opening ceremony of the Naadam festival and first round of national wrestling competition in main stadium. After lunch, we will see a competition of Mongolian traditional archery at the allotted place. In afternoon, we will see Mongols’ most favorite activity of Naadam festival, horseracing in Valley of Khui Doloon Khudag (Seven water hole).  After dinner, we will see a public party at Sukhbaatar main squire and then will have nice walking along the Piece Avenue.

Day16. 12 July. International departure.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the railway station or international airport for your international departure.
