Gobi. In 1991, the United Nations designated the Gobi as the fourth largest biosphere reserve in the world. The Gobi is vast. It covers almost a third of Mongolia and though it is classified as a desert, it is not as lifeless as the first time visitor might reasonably expect. While it is an arid area of largely homogenous scrubby steppe, it is dotted with camel breeders and some fascinating natural wonders.
Karakorum - The state of Mongols in the 13th century was among the most powerful of all in the world. Center of the empire was Karakorum city until Khuvilai Khaan decided to move his capital to Dadu or Beijing. After collapsing of Yuan dynasty Min state’s invaders sacked the city and massacred its inhabitants in 1388 and ruined it. Though Karakorum was partially reconstructed later, it was nevertheless eventually deserted.
Day1. Arrive in Mongolia and CITY TOUR
Meet at the “international airport. Arrival in Ulaanbaatar. Transfer to the hotel. sightseeing tour: Sukhbaatar Square , Chinggis Khaan’s monument, museums, Gandantegchilen Monastery, Megjidjanraisag. To photograph or observe Ulaanbaatar city from Zaisan Hill Memorial. Visit Buddha’s statue, Bogd Khaan’s Palace Museum.
Day2. Wild horses (Khustai Nuruu National Park)
Drive to Khustai Nuruu from Ulaanbaatar . photos of zebra and other animals. Drive to “Bayangobi” tourist camp. Take photos of sand dunes, zag tree and beautiful scenic places.
Day3. Ancient Capital (Karakorum)
Drive to Kharakhorum from the camp. Visit to Erdenezuu. Drive to Ogii lake. Trekking along the coast of Ogii lake and take photos of birds. Overnight at the camp. Urguu TC
Day4. Driving to Ulaanbaatar Drive back to Ulaanbaatar from Ogii lake. Arrival at the hotel.
Day5. Ulaanbaatar city and its City Visit Natural History Museum, Temple of Choijn Lama. Watch “Uren Khans” ballet. Overnight at the hotel.
Day6. Naadam Festival
Visit Sukhbaatar Square to watch “Chinggis Khan’s 9 white flag” consecrating event. Experience the Ceremony of the Naadam Festival. Watch the “Three manly sports” of wrestling, archery, horse racing and take photos. Watch reverence concert /Mongolian Traditional Folk Performance/
Day7. Gobi
Flight to south Gobi province /Dalanzadgad/ by local flight. Arrive in Dalanzadgad city, drive to Bayanzag, stay in TC. Free time, dinner, visit to ger on site museum, see Flaming Cliffs in setting sun of Gobi, hike around the site
Day8. Sand dunes (Khongor)
Leave the camp to Khongoriin Els. Trekking through Khongoriin Els, vast sand dunes, watching white and black-tailed gazelles and take photos of them.
Day9. Sand dunes (Bayanzag) Visit camel herder’s family and ride camels. Overnight at the camp.
Day10. Dinosaur Site (Khongor)
Drive to “Juulchin” tourist camp. Visit Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park (Canyons of Yol Valley) and local museums.
Overnight at the camp.
Day11. Gorkhi-Terelj National Park
Flight back to Ulaanbaatar by local flight. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar (09:45AM). Drive to Terelj National Park . Go to see caves, “Turtle Rock” formation “Ovoo” and “Ariyaval” monastery. Visit herder’s family, getting acquainted with their way of life and to learn about Mongolian nomadic custom. Ride horses. Overnight at the camp.
Day12. 13th century resorts
Breakfast, drive to 13th century resorts, get in the site, lunch, visit to see Chinggis Khaan’s Grand statue with his horses, free time, feast dinner, overnight in the resorts
Day13. Ulaanbaatar
Drive back to Ulaanbaatar and stay at the hotel. Free time /State Department Store, Souvenir /. Overnight at the hotel.
Day14. International departure Transfer to “Chinggis Khan” international airport for departure.

Four domestic flights, transportation with Russian war jeep, well equipped guesthouse (it is well located in UB and all of their service is excellent. Tourist camps in the field, three meals a day, English-speaking guide, all sightseeing costs, riding & boating hires where specified, support staff including drivers, mineral water per day, and government taxes.
