Detailed Itinerary:

Day1. Arrive in Mongolia.

Arrive in Ulaanbaatar city either by train or plane. We will pick you up and transfer to the hotel. Then we will have CITY DRIVING TOUR. (Price included). Overnight in hotel.

Day2. Riding

After breakfast, the trip will be begun. We will enter into gently rolling road at the end of asphalt road. Ger, traditional house, cattle and Mongolian horses will be sewn there. Then you will reach Khustai National Park. Here, The horses, named as Prejevalsky’s horses which is forefathers of Mongolian horses are inhabited. Overnight in the tent.

Day3. Riding

After breakfast, we will cross the Khustai Nuruu Mountain range and continue to ride to Central Mongolian plateau. In this day we will see the natural scenery change from middle altitude mountains to plateau. Overnight at the shore of the River Tuul.

Day4. Riding

After breakfast, we will ride to southern edge of Bogd Khaan Mountain National Park. The National Park is oldest national park in the world and was proclaimed in 1778. After lunch, we will ride to Mandzushir Monastery and its some ruins. The monastery was established in 1733. The monastery is located in a beautiful valley of the National Park and surrounded lovely pine forest. Overnight around the monastery.

Day5. Riding

Breakfast. Today we will ride to South east direction for getting in Chinggis Khaan’s Grand Statue. Full day riding through vast steppe. Overnight in the tent

Day6. Riding and Chinggis Khaan’s Grand Statue

Breakfast. Ride to Chinggis Khaan’s Grand statue and around lunch time we could get in the statue and will have some fun time there. After lunch, we will have some relax about 2 hours at the shore of the River Tuul. Then we will cross the river and overnight in the tent.

Day7. Gorkhi-Terelj National Park

Gear up for a big day along the scenic River Tuul into a wilderness of spruce forests and alpine meadows, perhaps spotting a marmots or wild birds. Descend into the rugged and remote River Tuul Valley in the shadow of Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, often referred to as the mountain kingdom of East Mongolia for its collection of peaks. In the evening, we will be reached around Gunj Monastery ruins and will have shower and nice dinner. Overnight in the tent.

Day8. Visit to Nomadic family and riding

Our longest ride of the trip passes Khentii’s mountains, glaciers, rivers and forests on a challenging ride. Arrive in the end spot of Gorkhi Terelj National Park’s vacation place. Overnight in nomadic family.

Day9. Horseback riding and nomadic family

Breakfast, horseback riding /2hours/, after lunch we will ride to Ulaanbaatar city and in the evening we will arrive in the city and stay in the hotel.

Detailed Itinerary:

Day1. Tsonjin Boldog – Genghis Khan’s Horse Statue & Gun Galuutai Natural Reserve – wild sheep

We will pick you up from your accommodation and drive to Tsonjin Boldog Resorts which is attracted by Chinggis Khaan’s Grand statue (55 km). 40 m high Genghis Khan’s Horse Statue is believed to be highest equestrian statue in the World. We will go to observation desk on the top of the horse head by elevator for seeing panoramic view.

After lunch time, we will drive to Gun Galuutai Natural Reserve (75 km). This place is special protected place of the province and protecting wild sheep Argali. We will do a small tour for looking wild sheep in the mountain and you will feel wilderness. Overnight in the nomadic family ger.

Day2. Gorkhi-Terelj National Park – Turtle Rock, Ariyabal Temple, horse ride

After breakfast time, we will drive to Gorkhi-Terelj National Park (130 km). Situated 70 km northeast of Ulaanbaatar, Gorkhi-Terelj National Park is famous for its unique granite rock formations and pristine alpine scenery, and is a popular destination for tourists based in the capital and for Mongolians on weekend trips.

We will do small horse trek around Turtle Rock and go to Ariyabal Temple. Overnight in the nomadic family.

Day2. Bogd Khan Mountain National Park

After breakfast time, we will drive to Bogd Khan National Park (70 km). Situated in the front of Ulaanbaatar city and on the bank of the Tuul River, Bogd Khan Mountain Strictly Protected Area is oldest Government officially protected place in the World and was declared a sanctuary in 1778 for protection of its great variety flora and fauna.

Then we will drive to our nomadic family (70 km). On arrival you will have dinner at the nomads’ ger. Enjoy the joyful atmosphere and learn the clever nomads’ way of life by taking every chance of taking part in the nomadic life activities like a nomad. Experience the milking cows or goats. Watch how they produce tasty and nutritious dairy products. Then, participate in the nomads’ daily chores – prepare dried dung from a nearby mountain for the family’s household use for making fire. Overnight in the nomadic family.

Day4. Khustai National Park – wild horses.

Next day morning, we will drive to Khustai National Park (30 km). National Park Khustai where re-introduction of the wild takhi horses (Przhevalsky’s horses) has taken place since 1992. Takhi is last wild horse subspecies surviving in the 21st century. It was discovered in western Mongolia in the late 1870s by the Russian explorer N.M. Przhevalsky. Several expeditions since 1969 have failed to find this horse, which probably crossed with half-wild domesticated horses and lost its distinct features. Specimens have been kept and bred in zoos, and Mongolia in the late 20th century attempted to reintroduce them into the wild.

Then we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar city (90 km) and you will transferred to your accommodation.

Then we will make short hike to picturesque lovely meditation Ariyabal Temple which is surrounded by scenic and rocky mountains and sits at middle of the them. Monks performs meditation ritual for many years amongst beautiful and tranquil mountains. It is not old temple. To get to the top, you would cross the suspension bridge and climb up on 108 stairs, according to Buddhist prayer beads. After breakfast time, we will drive to Tsonjin Boldog Resort (45 km). 40 m high Genghis Khan’s Horse Statue is believed to be highest equestrian statue in the World. There’s an elevator to observation desk on the top of the horse head. Also, there is 2 museums,  Military Armaments of Huns and Great Mongolian State.

Then we will drive to Ulaanbaatar city (55 km) and before lunch time, transfer to your accommodation.

We will pick you up from your accommodation at 09:00 o’clock. Then drive to Khustai National Park (90 km).

National Park Khustai where re-introduction of the wild takhi horses (Przhevalsky’s horses) has taken place since 1992. Takhi is last wild horse subspecies surviving in the 21st century. It was discovered in western Mongolia in the late 1870s by the Russian explorer N.M. Przhevalsky. Several expeditions since 1969 have failed to find this horse, which probably crossed with half-wild domesticated horses and lost its distinct features. Specimens have been kept and bred in zoos, and Mongolia in the late 20th century attempted to reintroduce them into the wild.

Then we will be spent at leisure hiking in the surrounding mountains for seeing the wild horses. If we luck we may see also maral deer & other animals.

Then we will drive to a nomadic family. On arrival you will have lunch at the nomads’ ger.

We will pick you up from your accommodation and drive to Tsonjin Boldog Resort (55 km). 40 m high Genghis Khan’s Horse Statue is believed to be highest equestrian statue in the World. There’s an elevator to observation desk on the top of the horse head.

Then we will drive to Gorkhi-Terelj National Park (40 km). Situated 70 km northeast of Ulaanbaatar, Gorkhi-Terelj National Park is famous for its unique granite rock formations and pristine alpine scenery, and is a popular destination for tourists based in the capital and for Mongolians on weekend trips. Then we will make short hike to picturesque lovely meditation Ariyabal Temple which is surrounded by scenic and rocky mountains and sits at middle of the them. Monks performs meditation ritual for many years amongst beautiful and tranquil mountains. It is not old temple. To get to the top, you would cross the suspension bridge and climb up on 108 stairs, according to Buddhist prayer beads. In the afternoon, you will have time to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.

In the evening we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar city (60 km) and you will transferred to your accommodation.

In the morning, we will pick you up from your accommodation and drive to Bogd Khaan Mountain National Park (50 km – 1 hour).

Situated in the front of Ulaanbaatar city and on the bank of the Tuul River, Bogd Khan Mountain Strictly Protected Area is oldest Government officially protected place in the World and was declared a sanctuary in 1778 for protection of its great variety flora and fauna. Bogd Khan Mountain is situated at an average altitude of 2000 m and is spread across of with patches of coniferous forests. Highest point is 2256 m Tsetsee Gun peak. Also, it was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List.

We will follow the hiking path to Tsetsee Gun peak until you want to return. Then drive back to Ulaanbaatar (50 km – 1 hour) and transfer you to your accommodation.

pick you up from your accommodation at 0900 clock → drive to Tsonjin Boldog resort (55 km) → visit to Chinggis Khaan’s grand statue complex, see Biggest Mongolian traditional long boot in the World, go to the top, back of Chinggis Khaan’s iron horse, see and visit to Military Equipment Museum of Huns and Great Mongolian Empire → lunch → drive back to Ulaanbaatar (55 km) → transfer to your accommodation → end

40 m high Genghis Khan’s Horse Statue is believed to be highest equestrian statue in the World. There’s an elevator to observation desk on the top of the horse head. Built in 2008. It is made by 250 tonnage steel. The building consisted of 36 supporting columns, symbolizes 36 kings who are direct lineage of Chinggis Khaan. Far sighted Chinggis Khaan holds a golden whip in his right hand. Recreation area, restaurants and souvenir shops will be located in the column surrounded base of the Statue.
