This tour is designed for travelers who cannot fly or whose flight schedules do not match, giving them the chance to visit the Gobi Desert in 2 days. It is most convenient to start from Chinggis Khaan International Airport. By car, it takes about 8 hours (around 600 km) to reach Dalanzadgad city one way. The roads are mostly paved, but some sections are damaged.

Tour itinerary
Day1. Drive to Gobi Desert & Bayanzag
We will pick you up from your accommodation at 07:00 o’clock & drive to Bayanzag (700 km – 9 hours on the mostly paved road). American zoologist Roy Chapman Andrews discovered this place and named as Flaming Cliffs. Therefore, a lot of dinosaurs’ findings such as Protoceratops & dinosaur’ eggs have been found there in first time. Certainly, the red colored cliffs themselves are very imposing from a distance, and are particularly fiery in the light of the setting sun. We will walk around the site. Overnight there. /L,D/
Day2. Yol Gorge & drive back to Ulaanbaatar city
After breakfast time, we will drive to Yol Gorge (100 km – 2 hours on the dirt road). Yol means vulture in Mongolian and the gorge is located in Gurvan Saikhan Mountain range & stretches over 10 km. The narrowest part, only 3 or 4 person can pass in same time, of the valley is completely shaded from the direct sun shine by high cliff walls. As a result, the valley is famous for the fact that there is ice created in winter by small stream of the valley present there even during the hot summer months until mid of Jul. Then, we will do an hour hiking there & then also visit to the small natural museum (optional horse ride is possible in here). After lunch time, we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar (650 km – 8 hours on the paved road). After we arrived in the city, we will transfer you to your accommodation. End. /B,L/
