In winter, Hustai National Park is covered in snow, offering a peaceful and untouched landscape. Unlike in summer when they stay high in the mountains, Przewalski’s horses (Takhi) descend into the valleys during winter, making it the best time to see and photograph wildlife up close against the snow. Staying overnight at Hustai Resort allows you to experience the deep silence after day-trippers leave, marvel at the clear starry skies, and relax in a warm, cozy ger. This tour is available every day, offering you the chance to experience the serene beauty of Hustai in winter.

Itinerary
Day1. Khustai National Park
We will pick you up from your accommodation at 0900 o’clock & drive to Khustai National Park (90 km – 2 hours on the paved road). Khustai National Park has been home to the reintroduction of the Takhi (Przewalski’s horse)—the world’s last surviving wild horse species, discovered by Russian explorer N.M. Przhevalsky in the 1870s—since 1992. At the Khustai Resort, we will visit the park’s small museum and watch a short documentary on the history of the wild horses. After lunch, we will drive to the observation points and walk through the valley to spot wild horses and other wildlife in the national park. Overnight in there.
Day2. Back to Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast time, free time, drive back to Ulaanbaatar (90 km – 2 hours on a paved road). Transfer to your hotel. Tour ends.
