This trip takes you to Kharkhorin, the ancient capital of central Mongolia, by public bus. You will travel by scheduled bus, spend 2 days exploring the area, and then return to the city the same way. When you arrive in Kharkhorin, our local driver will meet you at the bus station and take you to your camp. A guide is not included in this package. However, the two main attractions in Kharkhorin — Erdene Zuu Monastery and Kharkhorin Museum — both offer English-speaking guides, and most exhibits have English descriptions. This trip is especially suitable for solo travelers and those traveling on a budget.

Tour itinerary
Day1. Go to Karakorum
We will pick you up from your accommodation & transfer to the bus station. After that, we will ride to Karakorum village (370 km – 6 hours on the paved road). Аfter you arrived there, our local driver will pick you up and transfer to the local ger guesthouse. Overnight in the local ger guesthouse. /D/
Day2. Explore Karakorum
After breakfast time, you will explore Karakorum. Karakorum, the capital of Great Mongolian State where today there is a small local township. After 200 years its sacked by Chinese, Erdene Zuu, built in 1586, is the first Buddhist monastery to have been built in Mongolia and by various construction materials were taken from the ruins of Karakorum. We will respectively visit to Erdene Zuu Monastery, Karakorum Museum & other interesting historical sights there. Overnight in the local ger guesthouse. /B,L,D/
Day3. Back to Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast time, you will be directly transferred to local bus station & catch the bus to Ulaanbaatar city (370 km – 6 hours on paved road). After arrive in the city, we will pick you up and transfer you to your accommodation. /B/
