Day1. Genghis Equestrian Statue & Khar Zurkhnii Khukh Lake

We will pick you you up from your accommodation at 09:00 o’clock & drive to Genghis Equestrian Statue (55 km – 1 hour on the paved road). 40 m high Genghis Khan’s Horse Statue is believed to be highest equestrian statue in the World. There’s an elevator to observation desk on the top of the horse head & some interesting exhibits of cultural & historical in the basement building. Check out the observation deck & enjoy with other things. Then we will drive to the Khar Zurkhnii Khukh Lake (165 km – 3 hours mostly on the paved road). According to the Mongolian Secret History book, the Blue Lake was the place Genghis Khan proclaimed as the king of whole Mongols in 1189 when he was 27 years old. You will explore the lake amid the foothills of Khar Zurkh Mountain, sage-blue waters & dense pine forest. Overnight in the tent.

Day2. Baldan Bereeven Monastery, Rashaan Khad Petroglyph & Uglugch Wall

After breakfast time, we will drive to Baldan Bereeven Monastery (60 km – 2 hours on the dirt road).  It is the ruins of a Buddhist monastery founded in 1813 and destroyed in 1937 by communist purges. Located in the picturesque valley of Munkh-Ulziit Mountain, the monastery was formerly one of the largest monasteries in East Mongolia. Raw violence of the destruction at the site was still visible, still palpable, even though it happened over years ago. We will hike to the ruins for visiting to local ger museum displayed survived objects of destroyed monastery and a lovely and active Buddhist temple. After lunch time, we will drive to Rashaan Khad Petroglyph (80 km – 2 hours on the dirt road). It is one of the greatest collections of prehistoric petroglyphs – figures carved in the rock over a period of 3,000 years and depicting themes connected with animal husbandry, navigation and stamp etc. We will walk around & take photo. Then we will drive to Uglugch Wall (10 km on dirt road). It is mystery series of stone structures & walls of unknown origin & uncertain age. Some archaeologists believe that this structure is belong to the medieval age or Khidan state. We will explore the site. Then we will drive to the tourist ger camp (70 km – 2 hours on the dirt road). Overnight in the tourist ger camp.

Day3. Mongolian Queens’ Museum & Deluun Boldog tour – the birthplace of Genghis Khan

After breakfast time, we will drive to Mongolian Queens Museum (35 km – 1 hour on the dirt road). This museum was opened in 2011 in the birth place of Dondogdulam & Genenpil whose were queens of last king Bogd Javzandamba VIII. Exhibits of the museum show the exhibits of 7 other notable queens who played major role in Mongolian history. Then we will explore Duurlig Burial Mound which is belong to Huns period. Then we will drive to Dadal village (80 km – 3 hours on the dirt road). We will check out Genghis Marble Statue, holy spring which used for washing Genghis Khan after just his birth & Deluun Boldog birthplace of the great king etc. Overnight in the tourist ger camp.

Day4. Andlal Statue – friendship oath 

After breakfast time, we will drive to Andlal Statue (145 km – 4 hours on the dirt road). This is a monument featuring a young Temuujin (Genghis Khan) & his lifetime friend Boorchi. The two figures are bowing & touching to each other by their forehead & the figures together in the symbolic form of friendship between Mongolian men. Andlal means friends oath. After lunch time, we will drive to Genghis Khan town (105 km – 2 hours on the paved road). Overnight in the local hotel.

Day5. Back to Ulaanbaatar city

After breakfast time, we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar city (330 km – 5 hours on the paved road). After arrive in the city, you will be transferred to your accommodation and end the trip.

End time: around 14:00 o’clock
